AMG Systems’ Indian market appointment Video and communications transmission specialist AMG Systems has underlined the strategic importance of its Indian operation with the recruitment of Sheetal Shanbhag as its Country Head for India, based out of Mumbai. Shanbhag was previously Head of Sales and Marketing for EFKON India, a company providing ITS solutions for traffic management and tolling.

CNL’s partnership with Shield Safety and Security enhances Middle East region specialist’s security services
CNL, a developer of physical security information management software, has unveiled a partnership with Shield Safety and Security, the military and police supply division of Bin Salem Holdings, an Emirati owned group based in Abu Dhabi, which serves the needs of government, security and industrial corporations within the Middle East region.
The organisations' new strategic partnership adds CNL's technology to Shield's existing portfolio of services for homeland security, transportation, oil and gas and other critical security facilities. Visitors to the upcoming ISNR show in Abu Dhabi next month (1-3 March) will be able to find out more, as the two companies are jointly exhibiting there. FLIR Systems unveils H-Series handheld thermal imaging cameras FLIR Systems has launched its H-Series handheld shock-resistant thermal imaging cameras. Reported suitable for security and law enforcement applications, the cameras are said to see suspects in total darkness, through light fog and smoke, as well as light foliage. The units are also handy tools for walking patrols involved in securing industrial sites or borders, as well as for customs and law enforcement officers and others who need to see what is happening in total darkness and all weather conditions, without being seen themselves. The H-Series are described as cost effective thermal night vision cameras, producing images of 320 x 240 pixels. Internal camera software is claimed to deliver crisp images without the need for operational user adjustments. |

MAXXESS Systems signs Steps International as its Saudi Arabian dealer
Steps International Business Group Company has been accredited as an authorised dealer in Saudi Arabia for MAXXESS Systems' range of access control and integrated security management software solutions.
Explaining the announcement, Lee Copland, MD of MAXXESS Systems EMEA said: "MAXXESS is keen to welcome system integrators to our worldwide network of approved dealers and Steps International will be promoting our full range in Saudi Arabia."
